[:en]Sometimes HP’s universal printer driver does not fully recognize color printers at first time. It only prints grayscale and the settings dialog does not show the color tab.

Solution

Open Windows Print Management, choose your printer and open its properties.

Go to tab “device settings”.

Choose Automatic Configuration -> Update now.

After a few seconds, the printer settings should show up with the color feature enabled.
